The community of South Alamo is a distinction given to the area in the southeast corner of the city of Vacaville, California, which lies south of Alamo Drive. The western edge of the community is Peabody Road and the eastern edge is Leisure Town Road. At the time of the 2010 census, Vacaville had a population of 92,428. It's the third largest city in Solano County. In 1851, a land deed was recorded when William McDaniel purchased land in the area from Manuel Baca. Vacaville was incorporated in 1892.
