North Alamo Drive is an extension of Alamo Drive, a major thoroughfare in the city of Vacaville, California. Alamo Drive runs north to south on the western boundary of the city before turning in an east to west direction in the southern portion of the city. Interstate 90 runs diagonally from the northeast corner of the city to the southwest corner. Interstate 505 comes into town at the northern edge of the city limits meeting up with and merging with Interstate 80 at town center.
Vacaville is located in Solano County in Northern California. Vacaville is halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco on Interstate 80. Vacaville is 55 miles from San Francisco and approximately 35 miles from Sacramento. At the time of the 2010 census, Vacaville had a population of 92,428.

Local pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies have their operations in Vacaville: Genentech, ALZA Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, and Novartis International AG. In 2014 ICON Aircraft announced they would consolidate their company's operation into a new facility in Vacaville. The annual Vacaville Fiesta Days are held downtown. The Creek Walk is held in downtown Vacaville every Friday during the summer. Vacaville Premium Outlets are a great place to shop. Children in Vacaville attend schools in the Vacaville Unified School District which employees 1,273 local residents. Some children in Vacaville attend Travis Unified School District.
